In order to realize the development goal of building waterproofing materials determined by the National Chemical Building Materials Industry Tenth Five-Year Plan and the 2010 Development Planning Outline, and to ensure the quality of building waterproofing engineering, the following opinions are proposed to further strengthen the production and application management of building waterproofing materials:
First, vigorously develop new building waterproof materials to improve the overall level of waterproof technology
All localities should implement the development goals and technical routes of building waterproof materials determined by the National Chemical Building Materials Industry Tenth Five-Year Plan and the 2010 Development Planning Outline, and vigorously develop elastomeric (SBS) and plastomer (APP) modified asphalt waterproofing membranes. Actively promote polymer waterproofing membranes, strive to develop environmentally friendly waterproof coatings, research and develop high-grade building sealing materials, underground engineering waterproof materials, urban bridge engineering waterproof materials, landfills and waterproof materials for urban sewage treatment plants; The use of asphalt composite tire waterproofing membrane, polyethylene-polypropylene composite waterproofing membrane and petroleum asphalt paper tire felt; elimination of tar waterproof material and composite base material made of high alkali glass fiber. Increase the market share of medium and high-grade waterproof materials, realize the serialization, matching and application technology of waterproof materials, and improve the overall level of building waterproof technology in China.
Second, limit the elimination of outdated products, standardize the application technology of waterproof engineering

The variety, specifications, models and performance of various materials shall comply with product standards and design requirements. 7. Strengthen the training of design and construction personnel to improve the technical quality of employees
